See the race live!
On November 7 and 8, the E1 Miami GP will bring its all-electric E1 RaceBirds to Biscayne Bay for the season finale of the UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF. Backed by team owners including Will Smith, Tom Brady and Rafael Nadal, nine teams, each featuring male and female pilots from the United States and around the world, will compete to be crowned as 2025 Champions of the Water.
The event will take place over two days, with qualifying on Friday, November 7, and race day on Saturday, November 8. Whether you’re nostalgic for the old days of cigarette boats or want to check out a new, growing sport, the weekend promises plenty of unmissable on-water drama.
What is the E1 Miami GP?
The E1 Miami GP is the final round of the seven race E1 2025 season, which features teams racing all-electric E1 RaceBirds. Other stops have included Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Lago Maggiore, Italy; Lagos, Nigeria; and Monaco. Miami is the first-ever stop in the U.S.
The races consist of nine teams with an all-star cast of celebrity owners. Familiar names from sports and entertainment like Tom Brady, LeBron James, Marc Anthony, Will Smith and Steve Aoki all own teams, and many team owners will be there.
The E1 Ocean Club will take place at Reserve Padel, where a special Padel experience – inspired by one of the E1 team owners, former tennis champion Rafael Nadal – will be set up for guests.
On Friday, each pilot will have up to three attempts to record their fastest lap. Based on their times, the teams will be ranked from one to nine before competing in two separate qualifying races to determine seeding for Saturday’s race day.
Race day will start with group stage races to determine seedings and lane positions for the remaining race off, place race and finals. The final will be split into two stages, and the first team to cross the line in Final 2 will take the crown.
About the E1 RaceBirds, the Championship's Raceboats
Every team competing in the E1 Miami GP will be driving an E1 RaceBird, a special electric raceboat designed uniquely for this competition. The E1 RaceBirds are 24-foot aluminum hydrofoils equipped with electric outboard motors that make them fly above the water. Their design combines high performance and minimal environmental impact.
Ticket Information
The E1 Miami GP is offering exclusive E1 Ocean Club tickets. The E1 Ocean Club includes exclusive viewing for the races; gourmet bowls and canapes; racing simulators; an open bar featuring Bombay Sapphire gin; a live DJ; a unique Cirque du Soleil performance (only on Saturday, November 8); and an Ocean Club gift. Single-day and two-day Ocean Club passes are available.
Transportation & Parking
There is a parking lot at the Miami Seaplane Base with a handful of spaces, but with the larger crowds, you may need to arrive early to secure one. Public transportation is fairly easy, as you can take Miami Metrobus Route 100 northbound from Downtown Miami anywhere along Biscayne Boulevard and get off at the MacArthur Causeway/Watson Island stop. Rideshares and taxis are also readily available.
