The fast, thrilling world of electric raceboat racing returns to Miami, with the action unfolding around the Miami Seaplane Base on Watson Island between Downtown Miami and South Beach.
On November 13 and 14, the E1 Miami GP brings its all-electric E1 RaceBirds back to Biscayne Bay for the season finale of the UIM E1 World Championship. This year marks the first doubleheader weekend in E1 history, with Round 6 on Friday, November 13, and Round 7 on Saturday, November 14. Each day is a complete race day of its own. Backed by team owners including Tom Brady, Will Smith and Steve Aoki, teams featuring one male and one female pilot will battle for crucial points as they compete to be crowned 2026 Champions of the Water.
Whether you're nostalgic for the old days of cigarette boats or want to check out a new, fast-growing sport, the weekend promises plenty of unmissable on-water drama.
What is the E1 Miami GP?
The E1 Miami GP closes out the 2026 E1 season with back-to-back rounds on Biscayne Bay. Qualifying takes place November 11 and 12, followed by two full days of championship racing where every position and point carries extra weight.
The teams boast an all-star cast of owners from sports and entertainment, including Tom Brady, LeBron James, Marc Anthony, Will Smith, Steve Aoki, Rafael Nadal, Kyle Kuzma, Thibaut Courtois, Virat Kohli and Didier Drogba. You may even spot a few of them cheering on their pilots from the waterfront.
Each race day begins with the Group Stages at 10:30 a.m., which set the seedings for the Race Off at noon. From there, the action builds through Final 1, the Place Race and Final 2, with the first team across the line in Final 2 taking the win. The podium ceremony follows at 2:20 p.m. Times are subject to change.
About the E1 RaceBirds, the Championship's Raceboats
Every team competing in the E1 Miami GP races an E1 RaceBird, a special electric raceboat designed uniquely for this competition. The E1 RaceBirds are 24-foot aluminum hydrofoils equipped with electric outboard motors that lift them above the water. Their design combines high performance with minimal environmental impact.
Ticket Information
The E1 Miami GP is offering exclusive E1 Ocean Club Hospitality tickets, with Early Bird pricing available through October 6. Single-day passes for Round 6 or Round 7 start at $950, and two-day passes covering the full doubleheader start at $1,650. The E1 Ocean Club includes premium race viewing; all-day catering featuring local and international cuisine; an open bar with signature Bombay Sapphire cocktails; an E1 Launch Zone tour; racing simulators; pilot Q&A sessions; Blue Impact Dialogues; a live DJ and entertainment; and an Ocean Club gift. Select tickets also include a Hot Lap, an on-water ride around the official circuit alongside official E1 reserve pilots.
The Ocean Club is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and is wheelchair accessible. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For group bookings, email oceanclubsupport@e1series.com.
Transportation & Parking
The Miami Seaplane Base is located at 1000 MacArthur Causeway. There is a parking lot on site with a handful of spaces, but with larger crowds expected, you may need to arrive early to secure one. Public transportation is fairly easy, as you can take Miami Metrobus Route 100 northbound from Downtown Miami anywhere along Biscayne Boulevard and get off at the MacArthur Causeway/Watson Island stop. Rideshares and taxis are also readily available.
