Eggstreme Egg Hunt
This event has passed.
A citywide Easter egg hunt invites families to search for prize-filled eggs across multiple parks and recreation sites in Coral Gables. Taking place Saturday, April 4, the Eggstreme Egg Hunt unfolds simultaneously at several locations, offering age-specific activities and staggered start times throughout the morning. Participants can look for gold, silver and bronze eggs, each tied to different prizes.
The main hunt begins at 10 a.m. on the athletic field at the War Memorial Youth Center, with a separate toddler hunt for children ages 3 and under starting at 10:30 a.m. inside the basketball gym. Additional hunts take place at 11 a.m. at Ruth Owen Waterway Park, Jaycee Park and Coral Bay Park, allowing families to choose a convenient location within the city.
Presented by the City of Coral Gables, the event is designed as a community-wide outdoor activity with multiple access points and park settings. Each location provides a slightly different environment, from open fields to neighborhood green spaces, while maintaining a coordinated schedule across the city.
