Classic soul harmonies and dance-floor rhythms shape a live-vocal celebration of the distinctive Motown sound featuring Larry Johnson. Presented by South Florida Legends, the production comes to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, April 17, with performances at 3 and 8 p.m.
Johnson, who has performed with the Drifters and the Temptations, leads a program highlighting the music and cultural influence of the Detroit-born sound. The concert explores Motown’s blend of soul, R&B and pop through energetic ensemble performances and familiar vocal arrangements.
