Eva Ayllón with Special Guest Daniela Darcourt

Afro-Peruvian song and Peruvian salsa share the stage in a concert led by Eva Ayllón with special guest Daniela Darcourt. The performance takes place Sunday, October 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Moss Center, presented by La Diosa Entertainment LLC.

Ayllón, often called the Queen of Landó, has spent more than five decades bringing Afro-Peruvian music to international audiences. Her career includes a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019 and multiple Latin Grammy nominations, reflecting her role as one of Peru’s most enduring musical figures.

Daniela Darcourt adds a contemporary salsa voice to the evening. The Peruvian singer and Latin Grammy nominee is known for bringing a modern, high-energy approach to salsa while drawing on the rhythms and vocal traditions of her home country.

Together, the two artists offer a program rooted in Peruvian music, from Afro-Peruvian repertoire to salsa, with a focus on rhythm, voice and cultural expression.
