Faena Jazz Series: Bebel Gilberto

Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto brings bossa nova, samba and contemporary Brazilian music to Faena Theater for two performances presented in partnership with the South Beach Jazz Festival. Taking place Thursday, January 14, the concert is the fifth installment of the 2026–27 Faena Jazz Series.
The daughter of bossa nova pioneer João Gilberto, Gilberto has developed a style that pairs the genre’s understated rhythms and intimate vocals with electronic, pop and contemporary influences. Her recordings and performances have helped introduce a modern interpretation of Brazilian music to international audiences.
The annual Faena Jazz Series runs from October 2026 through June 2027, with nine concerts curated and produced by Grammy-nominated producer and artist Rachel Faro.
