Faena Jazz Series: OKAN
Jun 24, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
OKAN brings an Afro-Cuban jazz fusion performance to Faena Theater, blending folkloric rhythms with contemporary composition in an intimate concert setting.
OKAN's performance takes place Wednesday, June 24, and serves as the closing performance of Faena LIVE’s 8th Annual Jazz Series, a six-concert program curated by Grammy-nominated producer Rachel Faro. The Juno Award-winning Canadian ensemble, led by Cuban Canadian musicians Elizabeth Rodriguez and Magdelys Savigne, is known for weaving Afro-Cuban traditions, jazz and global influences into dynamic live performances. Their work has received international recognition, including multiple Juno Awards for World Music Album of the Year.
The concert unfolds inside the 150-seat Faena Theater on Miami Beach, a venue inspired by European opera houses and Old Hollywood design that emphasizes close listening and musical detail. The Jazz Series runs February through June, presenting a range of international artists whose work spans classic and contemporary jazz traditions.
Doors open 45 minutes prior to show time, with tickets available for individual performances or the full Jazz Series season.
