Family Day Mash-Up: Discovering Design Meets Nature

A free family day invites visitors to explore creativity, nature and multisensory experiences through hands-on activities throughout the garden.

Family Day Mash-Up: Discovering Design Meets Nature in Community takes place Sunday, February 8 at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Presented by The Wolfsonian, Miami Beach Botanical Garden and neuroXnature, the program brings together local artists, scientists and performers for a morning of interactive, all-ages activities.

Programming includes craft-making with artist Beatriz Chachamovits, nature circles and sound bingo led by neuroscientist Karina Del Punta, Ph.D., and an interactive drumming workshop with the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts. Additional multisensory experiences are woven throughout the garden, encouraging exploration through sound, movement and tactile engagement. The event is free to attend and requires advance RSVP.
