Schedule of Activities
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Alliance Française: The Little Prince Book Activity for Children
Bring The Little Prince to life through reading, coloring and animation! Families can color 16 enchanting illustrations and, using the free BlinkBook app, watch their artwork transform into an 8-minute animated film. Kids can even create their own watercolor designs thanks to the book’s durable pages.
Recommended for ages 3–10.
1 – 3 p.m. | Artmaking with TMP
Teens from TMP (Teen Model Project) lead family-friendly artmaking inspired by architecture, design and civic creativity. This interactive workshop invites youth to explore how art shapes communities while encouraging teamwork and leadership.
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Heritage Wall by Connecting Minds Miami
Join artist Laura Speiran and community leaders for a collaborative workshop celebrating peace and cultural unity. Children will paint symbolic wooden leaves to form part of a six-foot Unity Tree inside the Museum, inspired by youth art from Northern Ireland. Participants can also experiment with Mind Gallery AI, creating digital stories and images from their reflections. The session highlights local partnerships with Eco Planet Earth, an organization dedicated to environmental education and youth empowerment.
4 p.m. | Florida International University Piano Area Students in Concert
Experience an afternoon of classical music performed by talented FIU Piano Area students, featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and more.
