Farm To Table Dine In The Stables at Patch
Feb 14, 2027
From: 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM
A 100-foot communal table inside a horse stable sets the scene for a farm-to-table dinner supporting forest conservation at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary. Taking place Sunday, February 14, 2027, the fourth annual fundraiser combines Thai-inspired cooking with walks through the sanctuary’s gardens in the Redland. Proceeds support plans to acquire 20 additional acres of agricultural nursery land for forest regeneration, doubling the sanctuary’s size.
Chef Vera prepares a meal featuring Redland-sourced ingredients, with announced dishes including Thai papaya salad, vegetable nori rolls with homemade sauces and curry vegetables. The stable setting offers opportunities to see the sanctuary’s resident Friesian and Gypsy Vanner horses.
Hosted by Suzanne Jewell, the sanctuary’s chief experience officer, the evening begins with a garden walk incorporating the Taste Garden, EarthWalk and Buddha Boulevard before guests gather for dinner. Dessert at the Cacao Bar and a fire ceremony follow the meal.
