Fiddlehead, Rival Schools, Bad Beat & Collateral

Fans of post-hardcore and alternative rock can look forward to a high-energy night of live music featuring genre-defining veterans and emerging local talent.

On Saturday, August 16, Gramps in Wynwood hosts a stacked lineup presented by Breakeven Booking, headlined by Boston’s Fiddlehead, known for their emotionally driven blend of punk, hardcore and melodic rock. They’ll be joined by Rival Schools, the influential New York band led by Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits), whose early 2000s work helped shape the direction of post-hardcore music.

Local openers Bad Beat and Collateral will kick off the night, bringing raw intensity and sharp songwriting to round out the bill. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with music starting at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25, and the event is open to ages 18 and up.
