Florida’s top short films take the spotlight as FilmGate Miami presents Best of Fest 2025, a celebration of local creativity, innovation, and storytelling at Silverspot Cinema.
The annual event brings together winners from FilmGate’s monthly short film series to compete for top honors, including the coveted Crystal Kraken Award. The evening features screenings of standout works spanning genres—from documentary to horror—and highlights the depth of Florida’s filmmaking talent.

The night also features filmmaker networking, live Q&As, and an awards ceremony honoring the year’s most compelling stories.
Best of Fest 2025 takes place Wednesday, December 3.
