Large-scale outdoor screenings transform SoundScape Park into an open-air cinema for an evening dedicated to dance on film.
Films You Gotta See BIG!, presented by Miami Light Project as part of ScreenDance Miami Festival 2026, takes place on Friday, January 23 at SoundScape Park at the New World Center on Miami Beach. The program is projected on the venue’s 7,000-square-foot wall, offering a larger-than-life setting for a curated selection of short films and feature-length works.
The evening includes official festival selections alongside a double feature highlighting films by Jennifer Lin. Screenings include Still Moving by Dawn Holgate and Jonny White, Ten Times Better by Jennifer Lin featuring dancer George Lee, About Face: Disrupting Ballet by Jennifer Lin featuring Phil Chan and Georgina Pazcoguin, Somber Tides by Chantal Caron, and TABLEAUX: Premiers Paysages by Charlotte Marchal and Maïté Jeannolin. The full program runs approximately 117 minutes.
ScreenDance Miami is an annual, multi-venue festival that showcases innovative approaches to dance created for the camera, connecting choreographers, filmmakers and audiences through screenings and public programs. This outdoor presentation is free and open to the public.
