FIU Jazz Faculty Concert

FIU jazz faculty members come together for a concert highlighting the breadth of the school’s jazz program. The performance takes place Wednesday, January 20 at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center as part of the FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts 2026-2027 season. The program features original works, jazz standards, Latin jazz and contemporary arrangements performed by the artists who teach and mentor FIU’s student musicians.
Active as performers, composers, recording artists and educators, FIU’s jazz faculty bring experience that spans international tours, major stages, Grammy nominations, Fulbright recognition and Global Music Awards. Presented by the FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts, the concert offers audiences a chance to hear the school’s jazz faculty together in a program shaped by both performance expertise and South Florida’s jazz landscape.
