FIU Wind Ensemble Concert

FIU’s leading wind, brass and percussion students perform programs spanning foundational works and contemporary scores in a two-concert series. The FIU Wind Ensemble performs Wednesday, November 18 and Saturday, February 20 at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center as part of the FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts 2026-2027 season. Directed by Dr. Brenton Alston, the ensemble showcases student musicians through the breadth of the wind repertoire.

The FIU Wind Ensemble brings together performers from across the school’s instrumental programs, emphasizing precision, ensemble balance and expressive range. The concerts offer audiences a look at the depth of FIU’s wind program and the distinctive sound of its student musicians.
