Flash Class: Gelato alla Stracciatella

Celebrate Gelato Fest with a hands-on look at one of Italy’s most beloved frozen desserts during a mid-day session at Eataly Aventura. At Flash Class: Gelato alla Stracciatella on Saturday, August 23, the Scuola Chef will demonstrate how to prepare this classic flavor, explain the differences between gelato and ice cream, and share techniques for making high-quality gelato at home without an ice cream maker.

Participants will discover why gelato’s slow mixing and lower fat content create a denser, creamier texture and more intense flavor. The experience includes a guided lesson on traditional methods, tastings of gelato alla stracciatella and other signature flavors, and a 10% marketplace shopping voucher to continue the celebration beyond the class.
