Forever Motown

Classic Motown harmonies, choreography and soul hits come to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in a tribute to the sound that shaped American pop and R&B. Forever Motown takes place Friday, February 26, presented by the City of Aventura. The concert revisits the vocal groups, lead singers and rhythm-driven arrangements associated with the Motown era of the 1960s and 1970s.

The production features songs such as “My Girl,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” “Shop Around,” “Dancing in the Street,” “Stop! In the Name of Love,” “Ain’t Nothin’ Like the Real Thing” and “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).” Performers recreate the style of the period through close vocal harmonies, choreographed movement and period-inspired costumes.

Designed for fans of soul, R&B and classic pop, the show offers a live revue format focused on the music, stage presence and cultural legacy of Motown’s hitmaking years.
