Fourth of July Celebration at Tropical Park

Live music, family activities, food vendors and fireworks bring an America250 edition of Miami-Dade County’s Independence Day celebration to Tropical Park. The free Saturday, July 4, event runs from 3 to 9 p.m. and also marks the start of Park and Recreation Month.
Presented by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces in partnership with TelevisaUnivision, the celebration recognizes the nation’s 250th anniversary with an afternoon and evening of community programming. Guests can expect live entertainment, dance performances, DJs, themed photo opportunities, special appearances, interactive experiences and a fireworks finale at the conclusion of the event.
Confirmed musical performers include Whiskey All Stars, Celebrity Band 305, Giselle, Orlando Mendez and Piso 21. Additional event features include food vendors and the Carnival Cruise Line Fun Zone.
Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, picnic blankets, foldable chairs, sunscreen and comfortable clothing. Parking is limited, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early or use public transit, rideshare or carpooling. A designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up area will be available at 82nd Avenue and 48th Street.
Pets, personal fireworks, tents, umbrellas and alcohol are not permitted. Tropical Park’s dog park will be closed for the full day on July 4.
