Free Second Saturdays: Celebrating Women in Art
Mar 14, 2026
From: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Explore hands-on art activities inspired by contemporary artist Joiri Minaya during a free family day at Pérez Art Museum Miami. Held as part of the museum’s Free Second Saturdays series, the program highlights Women’s History Month with creative projects and gallery experiences for visitors of all ages.
Free Second Saturdays: Celebrating Women in Art takes place on Saturday, March 14 at Pérez Art Museum Miami. Activities draw inspiration from Minaya’s work featured in Shadows and Traces: Selections from PAMM’s Collection, encouraging participants to experiment with bold patterns, layered textures and personal storytelling through artmaking. A docent-led tour of the exhibition offers additional context about Minaya’s practice and themes.
Presented in partnership with Miami Kids Magazine, the afternoon also includes games, prizes and giveaways. Admission to PAMM is free all day, and art activities are available between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
