An Ordinary Couple, screening at 12:30 p.m., follows a couple navigating decades of change in marriage equality, reflecting on their relationship against the backdrop of the AIDS epidemic and evolving legislation. At 3 p.m., Class of Her Own tells the story of educator Gloria Jean Merriex, whose unconventional teaching methods emerged after her school faced challenges with standardized testing, reshaping her approach to student learning.
Part of the festival’s broader lineup, the screenings highlight documentary storytelling that addresses personal and societal transformation. Admission is free and open to the public.
