Friday Screenings at Collins Park Rotunda

At 3 p.m., Class of Her Own tells the story of educator Gloria Jean Merriex, whose unconventional teaching methods emerged after her school faced challenges with standardized testing, reshaping her approach to student learning.

Part of the festival’s broader lineup, the screenings highlight documentary storytelling that addresses personal and societal transformation. Admission is free and open to the public.
