Frost Percussion Group

The full range of contemporary percussion comes into focus in a concert by the Frost Percussion Group at Newman Recital Hall. The ensemble performs Friday, February 19 as part of the Frost School of Music’s 2026-2027 season, with Svet Stoyanov directing. The program highlights emerging percussionists in repertoire that emphasizes rhythm, texture, spatial interplay and the wide spectrum of sounds available across pitched and unpitched instruments.

Presented in an intimate recital setting, the concert offers a close-up look at the precision, coordination and color that define percussion ensemble performance.
