Full Pink Moon Festival Launch Party

Poetry and lunar spectacle come together for the opening night of the annual O, Miami Poetry Festival. The Full Pink Moon Festival Launch Party takes place Wednesday, April 1 at Andaz Miami Beach.

Timed to coincide with the Full Pink Moon, the evening serves as the official kickoff to the monthlong celebration of poetry across Miami-Dade County. Guests can participate in a moon-themed open mic, view the moon through a telescope and explore creative activations including the debut of the O, Miami Full Moon Calendar.

Founded with the goal of ensuring every resident of Miami-Dade County encounters a poem during the month of April, the O, Miami Poetry Festival brings poetry into public spaces through site-specific events, community gatherings and creative projects throughout the county. Each year, the festival highlights Miami’s neighborhoods, cultures and voices through inventive programming.
