George Clanton

Dreamlike synth-pop, breakbeats and vaporwave textures anchor a four-act bill led by DIY electronic artist George Clanton. Presented by Breakeven Booking, the concert takes place Monday, November 16 at Las Rosas in Allapattah, with ideasforconversations, Ryan Hemsworth and Valgur completing the touring lineup.

Clanton combines hazy electronic production with shoegaze distortion, dance rhythms and emotionally direct pop songwriting. His catalog includes Slide and Ooh Rap I Ya, while his broader work encompasses the independent label 100% Electronica and festivals built around its internet-born music community.

New York duo ideasforconversations performs live analog dance music using synthesizers, arpeggiators and sequencers. Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth moves among electronic music, hip-hop, R&B and indie pop, while Mexico City sibling duo Valgur pairs psychedelic pop and performance with imagery shaped by magical realism, science fiction and Zapotec culture.
