Feb 08, 2025
Starting: 8:30 AM
Cyclists of all skill levels come together for a guided community ride through North Miami's neighborhoods during Black History Month. The Get in Gear Community Bike Ride, taking place Saturday, February 8, celebrates African Americans and labor while promoting wellness and community connection.
Starting at MOCA Plaza at 8:00 a.m., with departure at 8:30 a.m. sharp, participants will embark on a 10-mile round trip journey lasting approximately 90 minutes. The ride, organized in partnership with North Miami Parks and Recreation Department and the North Miami Police Department, includes police escort and designated stops for water and restroom breaks.
While bicycles are not provided, riders are welcome to bring their own bikes and join this monthly wellness initiative. Helmets are mandatory for participants 16 and under, and recommended for all riders. This event is part of the City of North Miami's Black History Month programming.
