Graffiti Party: Watch Atomik Paint Live
Nov 19, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Miami graffiti artist Atomik paints his signature orange character live on canvas during an evening of street art, conversation and hands-on activities. Hosted by We Met in Miami, the gathering takes place Thursday, November 19, at El Jardín Inn in Little Havana. Atomik and fellow artist Renda Writer will discuss how street art shapes community and a sense of place in a conversation moderated by WLRN’s Wilkine Brutus.
Atomik developed his orange character in response to the demolition of Miami’s Orange Bowl stadium. Renda Writer’s text-based murals and canvas works draw on his background in spoken-word poetry.
The evening includes a silent auction for Atomik’s completed painting, coloring pages inspired by his work and a prize raffle. Optional wristbands and connection cards help guests indicate an interest in friendship or dating and reconnect after the event.
Held on Give Miami Day, the event also supports We Met Community Connection through optional donations:
- $25 or more: Tote bag tagging supplies, a custom Renda Writer sticker and three additional raffle entries.
- $50 or more: The first 10 donors at this level also receive a mini canvas by Renda Writer.
Admission is free with RSVP for adults ages 21 and older. Every attendee receives one complimentary raffle entry, and La Rubia blonde ale is provided.
