Greater Miami Symphonic Band: February Fantasy

Symphonic works and concert band favorites bring together community musicians for an afternoon performance at Pinecrest Gardens. The February Fantasy concert takes place Sunday, February 21 at 4 p.m., continuing the Greater Miami Symphonic Band’s 47th season.

Founded in 1979 by clarinetist Allan Tavss, the volunteer ensemble performs a wide-ranging repertoire written or arranged for winds, brass and percussion. Its concerts provide regional musicians with an ongoing outlet for ensemble performance while connecting South Florida audiences with the community band tradition.
