Green Space Miami Opening Reception
Nov 05, 2026
Starting: 6:00 PM
Thirteen Miami artists examine food as a carrier of memory, family history and cultural tradition in a new group exhibition at Green Space Miami. The opening reception takes place Thursday, November 5, marking the debut of Flavors That Form Us, the organization’s 2026 open call exhibition. Drinks, music, performances and light bites accompany the evening.
The exhibition considers the rituals surrounding shared meals, inherited recipes and the ways culinary traditions adapt as cultures meet and mingle. Participating artists are Alexandra Fields O'Neale, Augusto Esquivel, Carrington Ware, Christina Pettersson, Dani Read, Jevon Brown, Kayla Delacerda, Marie Franco, Nadia Wolff, Niko Devera, Richie Moreno, Sepideh Kalani and Sophia Lacroix.
Continuing Green Space Miami’s focus on local culture, Flavors That Form Us looks at how food can preserve histories, shape identity and connect generations through everyday practices and communal traditions.
