Guaco

Venezuelan tropical music ensemble Guaco brings its fusion of gaita zuliana, salsa, pop, jazz and funk to Miami Beach. The concert takes place Saturday, November 28 at 8 p.m. at the Fillmore Miami Beach. Known as “La Súper Banda de Venezuela,” the Maracaibo-born group has built a multigenerational following with a sound that expands traditional Venezuelan rhythms into a polished, dance-driven Latin music style.

Active for more than five decades, Guaco is recognized for modernizing gaita through horn arrangements, electric instrumentation and wide-ranging collaborations across Latin music. The band’s catalog includes upbeat tropical tracks, romantic ballads and rhythm-forward songs that have made it a fixture for Venezuelan audiences and Latin music fans internationally.
