Harlem of the South: The Overtown Flash Mob Experience

Step into the rhythm of history with the Harlem of the South Flash Mob: A Main Street Renaissance, a two-day cultural activation celebrating Overtown’s legendary spirit during Art Week Miami 2025. Presented by the Overtown Business Association, operator of the Overtown Main Street District, this immersive experience brings dance, live jazz, and vintage fashion to the streets once known as The Harlem of the South.

Dressed in 1920s-inspired attire, performers and guests will move through iconic landmarks — from Lil Greenhouse Grill and The Heritage Corner to The Dunns Josephine Hotel and the 9th Street Pedestrian Walkway — transforming Overtown into a living stage of music, movement, and art.
