Helado Tropical: Helado Negro & Reyna Tropical
Nov 21, 2026
Starting: 8:30 PM
Helado Negro and Reyna Tropical bring their collaborative project to ZeyZey Miami with a live set shaped by bilingual avant-pop, electronic textures and tropical rhythms. Helado Tropical: Helado Negro & Reyna Tropical takes place Saturday, November 21 on the Zaku Stage, closing out the duo’s U.S. album release tour.
The project pairs Roberto Carlos Lange, the South Florida-raised artist behind Helado Negro, with Fabi Reyna, the Mexico-born, Texas-raised musician who records as Reyna Tropical. After meeting in the studio in 2024, the two artists developed what began as a single-session collaboration into Helado Tropical, a nine-song album that moves between ambient sound, rhythmic movement, Spanish-language vocals and guitar-driven electronic pop.
Lange’s work as Helado Negro draws from Latinx identity, bilingual songwriting and experimental pop, with a multidisciplinary practice that has included music, video, sculpture, sound and performance. Reyna brings her own guitar-centered approach to tropical and electronic music, including work as a recording artist and touring guitarist. Together, Helado Tropical offers a warm, spacious sound built around melody, atmosphere and percussive detail.
