Heritage Fest

Live performances, family activities, food vendors and dancing highlight a community gathering centered on South Florida’s pan-African arts and cultural traditions. The eighth annual Heritage Fest takes place Saturday, February 20 beginning at noon on the Thomson Plaza for the Arts at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Presented during Black History Month as part of the Arsht Impact series, the free, all-ages event spotlights pan-African artists and their contributions to the region’s cultural life.

Afternoon programming includes family-friendly activities and live entertainment, followed by an evening concert on the plaza. Guests may attend individual portions of the festival or remain throughout the day.

Admission is offered through the Arsht Center’s Pay What You Can program, with free tickets available and optional contributions supporting its education and community outreach initiatives. Tickets are required for every attendee regardless of age, with a limit of eight per household. Admission is first come, first served.

A 20% parking discount is available on a first-come, first-served basis at official Arsht Center premium parking lots. Guests may use the code HERITAGE when reserving online or paying through the onsite QR code. Advance online reservations close two hours before the event.
