Live-fire cooking and whiskey tastings bring South Florida chefs and international distillers together for an evening at The Biltmore Hotel. Returning Sunday, December 13, Whiskey & Fuego combines Heritage Fire and Whiskies of the World in an annual walk-around tasting event in Coral Gables. Admission includes food and whiskey pours, with opportunities to meet chefs, distillers and brand ambassadors.
The announced culinary lineup includes:
- Aitor Garate — Edan Bistro
- Eileen Andrade — Amelia’s 1931
- Jeffrey Budnechky — Apocalypse BBQ
- Reggie Larose — Red Rooster Overtown
- Tiana Gee — SoulPhil
- Andrew Gonzalez — Night Owl Cookies
Tasting stations feature dishes prepared by participating chefs alongside bourbons, scotches, single malts and other whiskeys from around the world. Educational tastings explore flavor, aroma and production, while attendees vote for their favorite dish to crown Miami’s Heritage Hero. The winning chef advances to the tour’s Grand Finale in Greenville, South Carolina.
Two admission options are available:
- General Admission: $109 — Access from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m., including culinary and whiskey tastings.
- Early Entry: $159 — Admission beginning at 5 p.m., plus exclusive access to Justin’s House of Bourbon for guided tastings of rare, vintage and limited-release whiskeys unavailable on the general festival floor.
Attendees must be 21 or older and present a valid photo ID.
