Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff

Music, dance and visual art come together in downtown Miami as Miami-Dade County launches its annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. The kickoff event at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center features mariachis in recognition of Mexican Independence Day, a tribute to Colombia and Latin America, and performances of salsa and merengue honoring Cuba and the Caribbean, along with artwork representing diverse Hispanic traditions.

The Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff takes place Tuesday, September 16 at noon in the lobby of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. This is a free public event.
