Historic Ghost Tour

Stories of past residents, historic events and reported paranormal activity guide this nighttime walking tour through Deering Estate. The Historic Ghost Tour takes place on select dates in October, offering a Halloween-season look at the estate’s history after dark. Guides share accounts connected to Indigenous presence, early Miami settlers, Charles Deering and experiences reported by visitors and staff.

Participants will walk the grounds while learning about moments and figures associated with the property’s past. Limited ghost-hunting tools such as pendulums, dowsing rods and EMF meters may be available, and guests may bring cameras or their own paranormal equipment. The tour may include mature subject matter and is open to adults and youth ages 9 and older.

Guests should dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes and bring a flashlight. Check-in is at the Main Gate, and participants should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Tickets are $45 per person and available via Miami-Dade County Park Link, with a discount available for Deering Estate Foundation members.
