Historic Ghost Tour

Step into the shadows of South Florida’s past on a nighttime walking tour through the historic grounds of the Deering Estate.

The Historic Ghost Tour returns on select evenings through October 23, offering a guided experience that explores the estate’s layered history—including stories of former inhabitants, significant events and reported paranormal encounters. Guests follow the same paths once walked by Indigenous peoples, early Miami settlers and Charles Deering himself, as guides share narratives that blend documented history with unexplained phenomena.

The tour runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and is recommended for adults and youth ages 9 and older. A limited supply of paranormal detection tools such as EMF meters and pendulums may be available, and guests are welcome to bring cameras or their own investigative equipment. Closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing, a flashlight and insect repellent are strongly recommended.

Check-in is at the Main Gate, and guests must arrive at least 15 minutes early. Late arrivals will not be admitted, refunded or rescheduled. Tickets are $45 and must be purchased in advance via Park Link.
