Holiday Tree Lighting in Coral Gables

The City of Coral Gables kicks off the holiday season with their annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 6, in front of City Hall. This tradition invites the community to enjoy a festive evening filled with activities, entertainment and the illumination of the holiday tree.

The event begins with the opening of Holiday Park at 5:30 p.m., featuring carnival games, holiday craft and food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment. A three-hour holiday show will keep attendees entertained throughout the evening, leading up to the highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus at 7 p.m. Santa will light the tree during a special ceremony, during which the park’s lights will dim at 6:45 p.m., and the playground will close to enhance the moment.
