Holidays on Ocean Drive: New Year’s Eve Fireworks

A midnight fireworks display marks the arrival of the New Year along one of Miami Beach’s most iconic stretches of shoreline. Part of the Holidays on Ocean Drive celebration, the event brings residents and visitors together for a shared countdown framed by ocean views and illuminated skies.
The event takes place Wednesday, December 31 from midnight to 12:30 a.m. at Lummus Park at 14th Street on Miami Beach, with fireworks launching from the beachfront beginning at 11:59 p.m. The presentation is organized by the City of Miami Beach and the Ocean Drive Association, with support from local businesses.
In conjunction with the celebration, Ocean Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic from December 24 through January 11, allowing more than 30 Ocean Drive restaurants to expand outdoor seating and offer extended alfresco dining throughout the holiday period.
