Improv Show: +1+ with David Christopher

Downtown Media Center hosts an interactive evening of unscripted theater where audience members become part of the performance in an ever-shifting mix of scenes, monologues and music. Guided by veteran improviser David Christopher, the show invites participants to step beyond the role of spectator and help shape the night’s storytelling.

Improv Show: +1+ with David Christopher takes place Friday, August 22. Christopher, an improv performer, instructor, director and producer with over 30 years of experience, is a founding member of Miami’s Just The Funny and executive producer of the Miami Improv Festival since 2003. His career includes teaching at theaters and festivals nationwide and performing at renowned improv venues such as iO Chicago, Curious Comedy Theater and SAK Comedy Lab. Known for blending emotionally driven character work with audience-centered formats, Christopher brings a dynamic approach that challenges both artist and audience to create something unrepeatable together.
