JAEL + Sky Jetta

Moluccan folk, gospel, soul and electronic music converge in a DJ set by Netherlands-based artist, producer and vocalist JAEL. The free performance takes place Saturday, September 5, on ZeyZey Miami’s Zaku Stage in Little Haiti, with Detroit DJ Sky Jetta joining the lineup.

Born Giovanni Jael Jano, JAEL builds energetic sets around rhythmic electronic production, soulful vocals and influences drawn from his Moluccan heritage. His international appearances have included Boiler Room Festival, Brooklyn Mirage, O2 Academy Brixton, Bass Coast and Lowlands, alongside tours across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and North America.

Sky Jetta complements the program with an open-format approach rooted in electronic music and shaped by close attention to the crowd. Her performance history includes collaborations with James Blake, Charli XCX and Rico Nasty, as well as appearances alongside Eminem, Diana Ross and Big Sean.
