Jazz in the Jungle: Lemon City Trio

Live jazz fills the garden paths as instrumental groove and modern swing take over the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

Jazz in the Jungle brings an evening of contemporary jazz to Miami Beach with performances by the Brian Tate Quartet and Lemon City Trio. Presented by Miami Jazz Booking, the outdoor concert blends straight-ahead jazz language with modern textures, improvisation and deep rhythmic interplay, set amid the lush surroundings of the Botanical Garden.

Led by bassist Brian Tate, the quartet features Lucas Apostoleris on drums, Connor Rhoher on keys, and trumpeter Cisco Dimas, whose lyrical, tradition-rooted sound anchors the ensemble’s dynamic range. The program also includes Lemon City Trio, a Miami-born soul jazz organ trio known for its genre-spanning sound, moving fluidly between fusion grooves, space rock atmospheres and classic organ-driven jazz. The trio features Nick Tannura on guitar, Brian Robertson on organ and keyboards, and Aaron Glueckauf on drums.
