Jazz Sundays at Lakou with Julius Rodgers

Experience a genre-blending evening of live music as jazz, funk and experimental rhythms converge in the heart of Little Haiti.

As part of Lakou’s weekly Jazz Sundays series, drummer and composer Julius Rodgers leads his trio on Sunday, August 17. Rodgers, originally from Perth, Australia, brings an eclectic sound shaped by jazz traditions, UK broken beat and 20th-century classical influences. Known for his collaborations with acclaimed artists including Jason Moran, Fabian Almazan and Linda Oh, he now performs regularly throughout South Florida.

Presented by Little Haiti Arts & Entertainment, the series offers a laid-back community gathering with live jazz in an intimate outdoor setting.
