An intimate late-night performance brings JMSN to ZeyZey Miami, pairing alternative R&B with the venue’s open-air, communal atmosphere.

Taking place Friday, March 13, the evening centers on the genre-defying sound of Christian Berishaj, known professionally as JMSN. Born in Dallas and raised in Detroit, the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer emerged in the early 2010s with a moody, self-produced style that blends R&B, soul, funk and experimental pop. His breakout album Priscilla established a raw, emotionally unfiltered approach, followed by releases such as The Blue Album, Velvet and Heals Me, each deepening his reputation for introspective songwriting and analog-driven production.

Known for maintaining full creative control over his work, JMSN writes, produces and often engineers his own recordings, drawing inspiration from classic soul, Prince-era funk and underground R&B. His live performances translate that intimacy to the stage, balancing smooth vocals with gritty textures and late-night energy.

ZeyZey Miami provides a fitting backdrop for the show as an open-air cultural venue and community gathering space, designed for connection through music, food and drink.
