Johnny Walker

Miami musician Johnny Walker brings a mix of soul, funk and groove-driven performance to Lummus Park as part of the weekly Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. Presented Sunday, October 18 in Miami Beach, the free outdoor concert invites audiences to bring blankets or lawn chairs for an evening on the lawn between 14th Street and 14th Place.

A Miami native with theater training from Miami Dade College and the University of the Arts, Walker returned to the local music scene after studying in Philadelphia. He has performed with his cousin Roosevelt Collier, appears with The Lee Boys and plays locally with projects including WalkerTown and MaddJazz.

The Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series takes place every Sunday and is presented with support from the City of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ocean Drive Association. In case of rain, the concert moves inside The Betsy Hotel.
