Juneteenth Wellness Fair: The Freedom to Feel Good

Celebrate Juneteenth with an afternoon focused on wellness, restoration and community connection through a range of engaging activities for all ages. This inaugural event brings together health, culture and local history in a festive and inclusive setting.
The Juneteenth Wellness Fair: The Freedom to Feel Good will take place on Sunday, June 22 at The ARC (Arts & Recreation Center) in Opa-locka. Presented in collaboration with Mayor John Taylor of Opa-locka, Miami Gardens Councilwoman Katrina Baskin, JuiceDefined and South Florida Black Gardeners, the fair features fitness sessions, cooking demonstrations, health screenings, gardening activities, live music and food. Guests are also invited to explore a newly launched art exhibit and the Tour of Opa-locka history museum on site.
The event is free and open to all ages.
