Jan 16, 2027
Select Days - Through Feb 27, 2027
Starting 2:00 PM
Junie B. Jones tackles the mysteries and mishaps of first grade in a musical presented as part of Actors’ Playhouse’s Children’s Theatre season at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Public performances run Saturdays from January 16 through February 27, with an additional sensory-inclusive matinee on Sunday, January 24.
Adapted from Barbara Park’s popular children’s books, Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School features music and lyrics by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich. The story follows Junie B. as she sets out to write the ultimate guide to surviving school, only to encounter writer’s block, classroom trouble and a reminder that even the self-appointed experts still have something to learn.
The January 24 performance is sensory inclusive and also features audio description for audience members who are blind or have low vision.
