Just for Me: Anatomy Adventure
Jan 16, 2027
From: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
The nervous system’s communication pathways and blood’s role in delivering nutrients provide a starting point for exploring human anatomy through sensory-friendly activities. Just for Me: Anatomy Adventure takes place Saturday, January 16, 2027, at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Designed for individuals and families with diverse sensory and accessibility needs, the morning program allows visitors to engage with scientific concepts through tactile exploration at their own pace.
Exhibition sound and lighting are adjusted to create a more sensory-friendly environment. Backpacks containing noise-reducing earmuffs and sensory toys are available to borrow at the front kiosk in child and adult sizes on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can preview the museum experience through its Social Narrative.
No registration is required for the activities. A limited number of complimentary museum admissions are available through a separate request form on the event page, with support from the Albert and Jane Nahmad Foundation.
