Just for Me: Brain Games
Feb 20, 2027
From: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
A series of “brain Olympics” activities introduces neuroplasticity, exploring the brain’s ability to adapt through learning and experience. Just for Me: Brain Games takes place Saturday, February 20, 2027, at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. The morning program welcomes individuals and families with diverse sensory and accessibility needs to explore scientific concepts through tactile activities at their own pace.
Sound and lighting adjustments create a more sensory-friendly environment within the exhibitions. Backpacks containing noise-reducing earmuffs and sensory toys are available to borrow at the front kiosk in child and adult sizes on a first-come, first-served basis. Families can review the museum’s Social Narrative before visiting.
No registration is required for the activities. A limited number of complimentary museum admissions are available through a separate request form on the event page, with support from the Albert and Jane Nahmad Foundation.
