Just for Me: Snowy Holiday

Visitors create artificial snow with a superabsorbent polymer during a tactile introduction to polymer science. Just for Me: Snowy Holiday takes place Saturday, December 19, at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Part of the museum’s programming for individuals and families with diverse sensory and accessibility needs, the morning session combines hands-on learning with opportunities to explore the exhibitions at a comfortable pace.

Sound and lighting adjustments make the exhibitions more sensory-friendly. Backpacks with noise-reducing earmuffs and sensory toys are available to borrow at the front kiosk in child and adult sizes on a first-come, first-served basis. The museum’s Social Narrative provides a preview of the visit.

No registration is required for the activities. A limited number of complimentary museum admissions are available through a separate request form on the event page, supported by the Albert and Jane Nahmad Foundation.
