Starting: 7:30 PM
A beginner-friendly reggaeton class led by Fernanda brings movement, rhythm and community practice to Sandrell Rivers Theater. Taking place Wednesday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 20, the class is part of LA CALLE!, a biweekly initiative by Carne Viva.
The session focuses on grooves, texture and musicality, using choreography and freestyle to help participants connect with the reggaeton beat. Designed for beginner to intermediate levels, the class welcomes a range of experience and emphasizes accessible movement in a supportive setting.
LA CALLE! brings artists from different disciplines into neighborhood spaces through classes centered on dance, music, text and cultural exchange. The series frames creative practice as a community-building tool, inviting participants to move, learn and engage with contemporary forms of expression.
