Explore themes of identity, resilience and personal transformation through the work of Haitian-American artist Laeti Adam-Rabel in an afternoon of conversation and hands-on creativity. Laeti Adam-Rabel: Artist Talk & Workshop takes place Saturday, June 7 at The CAMP Gallery in North Miami.
The event begins with an artist talk from 2 to 3 p.m., during which Adam-Rabel will discuss her multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, textiles, photography, videography and sound. Her work reflects on the relationship between people and the natural world, as well as the emotional landscape shaped by motherhood and cultural heritage.
From 3 to 4 p.m., Adam-Rabel will be joined by her daughter Analea for a hands-on printmaking workshop. Open to all ages and experience levels, this family-friendly session invites participants to explore printmaking as a tool for expression in a supportive and collaborative environment.
