A late-night stand-up showcase brings sharp wit and Spanglish storytelling to Little Haiti.
Las Locas Comedy Tour stops at Villain Theater for a special South Florida performance featuring a lineup of nationally touring comedians known for sold-out shows and high-energy crowds. The 10:30 p.m. show highlights voices from across the country whose material draws on culture, identity and everyday absurdities, blending English with un poco Spanglish.
The evening features Janice Rodriguez, a Chicago-based producer and comedian whose work explores her Spanglish-speaking Latina upbringing and modern marriage with sharp observational humor. Natasha Samreny, a Florida-based “third culture kid,” brings globally influenced perspectives shaped by a multicultural background and training at Chicago’s Second City. Stand-up comedian and actor Aniria delivers bold, autobiographical comedy rooted in resilience and lived experience, while Nana Rodriguez, winner of Laugh After Dark ComedyFest 2024, rounds out the lineup with fearless storytelling inspired by her Mexican American heritage and Chicago roots.
Villain Theater, located at 5865 NE 2nd Ave. in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood, hosts the late-night show with doors opening at 10 p.m. The performance begins at 10:30 p.m. and will be presented in English with some Spanish woven throughout. There are no drink minimums, and parking is free.
