Learn! Wildlife Rescue & Animal Encounter With Pelican Harbor Seabird Station

Pelican Harbor Seabird Station introduces families to the care that helps sick and injured native wildlife recover and return to the wild. Taking place Saturday, November 21 at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami, the program is part of Miami Book Fair’s Children’s Alley Learn! Canopy programming.

Participants learn how the station’s team rescues and rehabilitates South Florida wildlife before settling in for a story and an up-close animal encounter. The session also explores ways families can help protect the wild animals that share their surroundings.

The program runs from 1–2 p.m. at the Children’s Alley Learn! Canopy. Admission is free.
